The aim of personnel assessment is to get overall and objective view about a candidate or an employee.
There are two reasons why personnel assessment is used:
1. To assess candidates chosen during the search and selection project.
Assessment of candidate is an integral part of full search and selection process. However, ARIKO ReServ offers assessment of candidates as a separate service, too. Usually our clients choose assessment procedure when they have found candidates themselves and in order to make final decision they want to hear assessment of the specialist about one or several candidates.
2. To evaluate employees working for the company.
Assessment is being used to evaluate achievement of existing employees and to plan their further development within the company.
Assessment procedure consists of the following stages: several interviews with the consultant, test programme and reference checking.
During assessment process we concentrate on 4 essential questions:
- Competence: will the candidate/employee be able to do the job?
- Motivation: is the candidate/employee willing to do the job?
- Individual/Organization match: will the candidate fit into the team?
- Potential: how will the candidate develop? What kind of employee he/she will be in future?
